Volunteer at RML

As volunteers, supporters of RML Specialty Hospital selflessly offer their time and talent for the benefit of the hospital's patients. They gain a deep sense of personal satisfaction in return for their dedicated efforts.

The following are a few examples of our volunteer program opportunities:

Patient visitors

Volunteers are welcome visitors for patients in the adult inpatient units. Whether reading aloud, playing cards, or chatting, visits from volunteers encourage healing and ease a patient's hospital stay.

Office support

Volunteers provide office support such as typing, computer entry, and filing. Their assistance makes an invaluable contribution to RML's day-to-day activities.

Join our team

Consider becoming an RML volunteer. You must be in good health and at least 16 years old. Volunteer candidates must complete an application* and interview, and must pass health-screening tests.
