Food and Nutrition Services

Our Food and Nutrition Department, is led by licensed and registered dietitian nutritionists (RDN) with a focus on improving recovery and quality of life for long-term acute care patients.

Clinical Nutrition

Clinical dietitians collaborate closely with the interdisciplinary care team to ensure nutrition therapy and patient meals are aligned with each individual’s medical condition, recovery goals, and readiness to eat, supporting healing and long-term recovery.

We use the latest evidence based clinical nutrition best practice and are experts in the different modes of nutrition such as tube feeding, IV nutrition, and oral diets. Our dietitians have had much success with weaning patients from tube feeding and getting them eating again.

Patient Meal Services

We are committed to providing a supportive, flexible dining experience that meets each patient’s medical and personal needs:

“Our goal is to make mealtime a positive, empowering part of the recovery process while supporting optimal nutrition and clinical outcomes.”
