Visiting Hours & Guidelines
To support patient care and safety, visiting at RML follows clear, consistent guidelines.
Visiting Hours

Daily: 8:30 a.m. – 8:00 p.m.
Visitor Guidelines

A maximum of two visitors are permitted in a patient’s room at one time.

Visitors must be 13 years of age or older.

Children under the age of 13 are not permitted due to infection prevention and safety considerations.
Visiting hours and policies may change in accordance with CDC guidelines. Please confirm current visiting guidelines by contacting your care coordinator or the RML receptionist.
Safety & Respect During Visits
The health and well-being of everyone in the hospital is a shared responsibility.
During RSV, flu, or COVID seasons, masking may be required in patient rooms to help protect patients and staff. Visitors will be informed if additional precautions are in place.
RML is committed to maintaining a respectful environment. All visitors are expected to treat patients, families, and staff with dignity and respect. This helps ensure a safe and supportive setting for care.

RML provides several amenities and support resources to help visitors feel more comfortable during their time in the hospital.

Free parking at both Hinsdale and Chicago locations

Free Wi-Fi throughout the hospital

Cell phone use permitted in all areas

Chapel and reflection spaces for quiet time or prayer

Café Services
Our on-site café offers a welcoming space for families, visitors, and staff to enjoy fresh, satisfying food and beverages, featuring a variety of made-to-order items and comforting favorites. The café is designed to provide convenience, nourishment, and a moment of normalcy during your hospital visit. With an emphasis on quality ingredients and thoughtful menu options, our café supports wellness while creating a comfortable environment for connection, rest, and renewal.

Select food items and the time you would like to pick up
Proceed to checkout and enter your payment information. Toast accepts most credit/debit cards and Apple Pay.
Submit the order and head to the café at your pickup time
We are open from 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. Monday through Friday
